This session honors graduate students whose research achievements, in bionanotechnology, demonstrate a high level of excellence. Individuals who want to be considered for a Grad Award should submit an abstract to this session. Finalists will be selected from the abstract submissions to present in this session. A panel of judges will determine 1st-3rd place awards. (Awards are available for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place). Applicants can use the same abstract submitted to other 22B sessions. To be eligible for participation, the following criteria must be met: (1) Abstract submitted to the area 22B Bionanotechnology Graduate Student Award session (this session). The title must begin with "Award Submission:" Please make sure you have submitted your abstract by the AIChE annual meeting abstract deadline of April 7, 2025. (2) The applicant must be the 1st author on the presentation abstract. (3) The applicant must have one published peer-reviewed original research article as the first author. (4) By April 18, 2025, an application packet must be submitted via e-mail to Prof. Nathalie Pinkerton (nathalie.pinkerton@nyu.edu), and include the following information: a) Curriculum Vitae (3-page limit) b) a 250 word statement of impact about the applicants' graduate research. c) 1 peer-reviewed research publication where the presenter is the 1st author (pdf).
