Session: Remediation of Emerging Contaminants and Legacy Compounds

This session highlights the remediation of both emerging contaminants and legacy compounds in aqueous environments. Example topics of interest include (but are not limited to) pharmaceuticals and personal care products (PPCPs), per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), endocrine disrupting compounds (EDCs), heavy metals, polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), and nutrients. Lab- and field-scale contributions are sought from industry, municipalities, and academic researchers.
