Session: Fundamentals of Biocatalyst Design and Engineering

This session will focus on recent advances and cutting-edge developments in the production of bio-based materials, biofuels, and biochemicals. Topics include, but are not limited to: (1) use of data science and machine learning to enable biocatalysis; (2) engineering of enzymatic reactions and cascades to produce bioproducts; (3) complex natural product discovery, characterization, and engineering; and (4) new methods for efficient production and isolation of bioproducts.
