Session: Fluids & Transport in Biological Materials

This session will focus on flow and transport phenomena in biological materials, including soft biological gels and fluids. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the characterization of novel biomaterials (especially during material evolution), the dynamics of biomolecules (e.g., proteins and single DNA chains), blood flow, hydrodynamic separation of particles and cells, and hydrodynamic phenomena in drug-delivery systems.
