Decarbonizing the current industries and society is essential to combat global climate change. As a renewable feedstock for producing energy, chemicals, and materials, biomass offers versatile decarbonization pathways for diverse industrial sectors. This session invites abstracts that explore technical and policy strategies dedicated to decarbonizing chemical, material, and other industrial sectors through biomass utilization. Authors are encouraged to include life cycle assessment to quantify the decarbonization potential and to engage in discussions that encompass sustainability considerations and impacts.
