Session: Advances in Life Cycle Assessment I

This session addresses advancements in Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) in the context of sustainable chemical engineering processes, focusing on, e.g., waste valorization/ plastics recycling, ‘green chemistry’ processes, and decarbonized energy systems/ integrated processes. Submissions focusing on LCA methodology, data sources & management, and novel LCA applications are welcome, as well as submissions addressing the integration of low-TRL/ early-stage processes using prospective LCA, both product and/ or production systems, that aim at the integration of circular economy principles, and the role of LCA in regulatory frameworks.
