Session: Synthetic Biology and Metabolic Engineering for Functional Bioproducts, Part I

Abstracts submitted to this theme will lead to sessions that focus on novel synthetic biology and metabolic engineering strategies applied for development and production of food, feed, and natural bioproducts. The presenting papers will cover topics from the strain engineering to process development through techniques such as genetic/genome engineering, molecular biology, and genome-scale modeling and analysis. Faculty candidates for the 2025-2026 year are encouraged to submit to the Division 15 Faculty Candidate Session.
