Session: Diffusion, Transport and Dynamics in Adsorption Systems

This session is focused on measuring and modeling of mass transport in nanoporous materials for adsorption applications. These can include, but are not limited to, microporous powders; formed beads and pellets; structured monoliths – extruded or 3-D printed. Improving understanding of mass transport is essential for the design of more efficient separations, especially in kinetically limited systems and equilibrium based separations operated with rapid cycles.
