Session: Chemical Engineering Solutions for Infectious Diseases and Public Health

The COVID-19 pandemic underscored the role of chemical engineers in addressing global health challenges. This session highlights innovations in diagnostics, vaccine development, therapeutic delivery, and epidemiological modeling. Topics may also include antimicrobial resistance, bioprocessing for vaccine and therapeutic production, wastewater-based epidemiology, and engineering solutions for disease surveillance and prevention.
