This session will focus on cutting-edge innovations in biosensors engineered to detect nucleic acids and chemical compounds across diverse biological systems. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to, the development and application of novel biosensing platforms and devices for metabolites, environmental pollutants, gene expression, and diagnostic biomarkers in the form of nucleic acids or small molecules. Presentations may cover technologies ranging from molecular probes and synthetic biology-based sensors to novel biological materials, tools, and methods for detecting nucleic acids and small molecules.
