Encouraging women in chemical sciences requires both inspiration and persistence. This presentation will explore initiatives that encourage women at all stages: early exposure to science, mentoring in higher education, and leadership development in professional and academic settings. I will share lessons learned from addressing imposter phenomenon, building community through women-in-chemistry and chemical engineering events, and translating technical expertise into purposeful advocacy. This perspective underscores how intentional engagement can help ensure a diverse, innovative, and resilient workforce for the future of the chemical sciences.
