Yeast extract is one the most essential ingredients utilized in industrial fermentations. As the Biotech industry booms and unleashes the potential of more and more native and engineered microorganisms, the production of novel yeast extracts has been catching up to provide tailored nutrients to fulfill microbes’ various needs in a cost-effective way. In this seminar, we’ll talk about the recent advances in the yeast extract manufacturing and how yeast extract can help overcome the hurdles in production scale fermentation.
