This session seeks contributions describing new modeling and optimization approaches to design novel hybrid energy systems that synergistically incorporate diverse energy sources, including renewables, nuclear, and fossil with carbon capture, to provide environmentally sustainable, cost effective and reliable power, heat, and chemical products. Applications and case studies should emphasize utilization of multiple feedstocks to create multiple products and services.
