Session: Bio-inspired Composites

This session invites all contributions in the field of polymeric and composite materials whose focus is on bio-inspired, bio-mimetic, and other emerging applications. Submissions focused on the fabrication, characterization, as well as applications of bio-inspired polymeric and composite materials are encouraged. This includes, but is not limited to, natural or artificial composite materials synthesis (and higher order systems constructed thereof), multifunctional hierarchical materials, polymer chemistry, soft matter physics, and nanotechnology. We welcome multidisciplinary abstracts that open opportunities to emerging technological advances, such as bio-integrated electronics, bio-degradable, and bio-morphic robotics
