Session: Applied Math for Biological and Biomedical Systems

This is a broad solicitation for abstracts pertaining to application of mathematical modeling and/or numerical analysis techniques to applications involving biological and/or biomedical systems. Topics of interest include but are not limited to modeling, simulation and control of networked systems, distributed parameter systems, biological processes and systems engineering. Contributions that identify unique numerical problems that arise in biological and biomedical systems and address them with novel approaches are encouraged. Note that the abstracts may be split in appropriately named sessions at a later date.
