Session: Panel Discussion: Rethinking Grand Challenges in Sustainability for the 21st Century (Invited Talks)

Academic and Industrial leaders, including members of the National Academy of Engineering and the Academies Board of Chemical Sciences and Technology (BCST) will discuss novel ideas and creative strategies to improve sustainability of chemical engineering practices. The discussion will include presentations from panel members and questions from the audience aiming at defining the Grand Challenges in Sustainability for the 21st Century. The outcomes of the panel will be summarized as a white paper informing BCST and AIChE leadership about emerging issues in this field and potential solutions.
