2017 Annual Meeting

Session: Halide Perovskite Synthesis and Applications

Description: The halide perovskites have attracted intense interest as an emerging material-class for photovoltaic and other optoelectronic applications. This session will cover studies that explore and exploit the outstanding photophysical properties of these materials, such as their large light absorption coefficients and exceptionally long photoexcited carrier lifetimes. An additional focus will be on the remarkable synthetic versatility of these systems, spanning low-dimensionality nanomaterials and thin films.
