Plaster is a rich resources in China but now is not widely used. How to enhance the strength of the plaster is big problem especially the gypsum which were used in Ceramic mold .Under the conditions of gradually dropping of raw materials in to the reaction system,we used acrylic acid (AA), methacrylate (MA), methyl propylene sulfonate (SMS) and allyl poly (ethylene oxide) ether (APEG) which were acrylic monomers to synthesis type of ether polycarboxylate superplasticizer products. We optimize the reaction conditions such as temperature and addition time of monomers by saturation determination. The optimum reaction conditions were 85 ° C, monomers addtion time was 2.5 h.Different formulations of products based on the molecular design principles of regulation when we had diffreent propotion monomers. With plaster strength as an index to optimize the synthetic formula, the optimal formula of synthetic polycarboxylate superplasticizer in low dosage can significantly enhanced the strength of the gypsum. And then we can consider put thesuperplasticizer to produce in factory.
