2006 AIChE Annual Meeting

Session: Hydrogen Storage

Since extended activities are in progress to make hydrogen as the major fuel in the near-future “Hydrogen Society” in, for instance, the automotive sector, many research efforts are focused on the development of adequate hydrogen storage materials. Besides storage methods like liquefied and compressed hydrogen, many alternatives as metal hydrides, carbon nanotubes, metal-organic frameworks, hydrogen clathrate hydrates, etc. are subject of extended research. This session solicits for contributions that consider any novel aspect of any type of hydrogen storage material.
