Engineering Ethics 2021: Law and Life

In last year’s session, we explored the roots of ethics, and the relationship between law and ethics. In our new program, we present examples of enforcement actions by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers & Land Surveyors, showing how engineers can fall foul of the Texas Engineering Practice Act and Board Rules. We also consider how ethical considerations can and should affect professional relationships, irrespective of legal considerations.
