Configuring Aromatics Complex for Integrated Refinery and Petrochemical Facilities

Integrated refining and petrochemicals facilities provide feedstock synergy and flexibility to adapt to future market changes in both product quality specifications and product demand shifts, thus, helping to maximize overall profitability. This presentation discusses aromatics complex configuration options that result in improved economics by taking advantage of the synergies. Three case studies are presented for configuring aromatics complexes with focus on integrated refining and petrochemicals facilities to highlight some of the synergy opportunities.
