Introduction to Process Safety Principles

The session provides an introduction to process safety principles and their application. As young professionals in the operating, research, and design industries being aware of process safety principles and how they influence your work practices is important.

Several elements of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Standard 1910.119 Process safety management of highly hazardous chemicals and American Petroleum Institute Recommended Practice 75 (API RP 75) will be reviewed including:
