The Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme: Visions for Algorithms & Applications

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Quantum Computing Programme launched earlier this year with a mission to enable the development of fault tolerant quantum computing hardware to solve a problem of significance in the life sciences. In this talk I will outline the strategy we are developing for the Applications & Algorithms area. In particular, I will focus on our search for use cases that constitute problems of significance and at the same might be amenable to solution with quantum algorithms.
