The laboratory of the future: Impact of AI NEW TRENDS

What are the impacts of the digital transition on chemical laboratories? What is the evolution of their state of mind regarding the new tools: BIG DATA, diffusion of AI. How and when to use AI and for what benefit?

The aim of this session is to give an overview of new trends in using the capabilities of digital tools to accelerate chemical synthesis or formulation of new products or to improve existing ones.

In my talk, based on my own experience with AI in formulation, I will highlight some of the strengths and weaknesses of this transition we are facing and illustrate with examples the area explored. I will then give the floor to the other speakers, experts in AI in chemistry, to illustrate the opportunities of AI to set up the laboratory of the future and to allow us to reach the objectives and to revisit chemistry in a new way.
