Since 2013, China has incorporated ecological environment protection into the national development strategy layout, continuously improved the ecological civilization system, and significantly improved the environmental quality. VOCs have always been the key substances in atmospheric environmental management. However, compared with the treatment of traditional pollutants such as SO2 and NOx, the foundation of VOCs treatment is weak, and it has become a prominent shortcoming in improving the quality of air environment in China at this stage. As a feasible technology to completely treat VOCs, incineration has been advocated by the Chinese government in recent years. In the process of promotion and implementation of this technology, safety accidents occasionally occur. This paper systematically analyzes the accident causes of incineration treatment facilities, analyzes the safety risks of whole-process safety control, and puts forward control suggestions in order to provide guidance for the safety risk reduction of the same type of VOCs treatment facilities.
