In the drive toward safer, more profitable, and environmentally sustainable petrochemical/hydrocarbon processing plants, data integration and visualization are increasingly becoming more vital in the overarching operating model. Reliable plants achieve higher capacity utilization, fewer process upsets, and reduced loss of primary containment (LOPC) events, all of which are fundamental for achieving operational excellence. Central to this reliability is asset integrity management (AIM), which requires a holistic approach to monitoring the condition health of equipment and instrumentation, as well as a robust system to communicate and address metrics among stakeholders. Advanced data integration and visualization techniques empower AIM by bringing together diverse data sources in real time, enabling more proactive condition monitoring, rapid identification of potential issues, and more informed decision-making. These advanced analytical processes enable a bottom-up analysis and drive predictive to prescriptive approaches and are particularly valuable as facilities face the challenges of aging infrastructure, OPEX/CAPEX constraints, where timely insights into asset health are critical to managing risks.
