In this presentation, we will explore the groundbreaking advancements in the Siemens Industrial Metaverse, focusing on its application within the energy and chemical sectors. The industrial metaverse has a physics-based core technology which gives the insight in to performance in addition to the visual/spatial experience typical of a metaverse.

Our primary case study is the UT Process Science and Technology Center, where we have employed state-of-the-art laser scanning and photogrammetry techniques to capture detailed 3D models of the facility. We will discuss the process of reverse engineering these models to create a comprehensive digital twin, which serves as both a physical and digital experience center. This initiative not only enhances engagement by providing immersive, interactive experiences but also serves as a cutting-edge research facility for students.

We will also talk about what are the various components of making a metaverse and present some successes of those areas, finally updating on what progress Siemens is making in this technology. Attendees will gain insights into the practical applications of the Industrial Metaverse, its benefits for operational efficiency, and its potential to revolutionize industry practices. Join us to discover how the Siemens Industrial Metaverse is bridging the gap between the physical and digital worlds, driving innovation, and fostering a new era of industrial collaboration and education.
