Clariant is a global and independent catalyst manufacturer offering an extensive portfolio of catalyst solutions. With extensive expertise in Selective Acetylene Hydrogenation, innovative catalysts have been introduced to market in recent years. This presentation will showcase an iterative approach combining Machine learning and Laboratory Experiments, including high throughput screening and pilot testing to demonstrate how to develop new or improve existing catalysts with accelerated time-to-market for new products. This work will also present a success story of a new catalyst developed for olefins production that has proven performance in over than 10 world-scale commercial reactors.
