Session: Advances in Catalysis

This session focuses on the current state and development of catalysis in petrochemicals production and refining. Potential topics include the chemical nature of solid catalysts and the structure of their surfaces, chemical and physical adsorption and desorption processes, ageing of surfaces, effects of catalyst poisons, and the formation of intermediates.
