Session: Digital Twins, Augmented Reality, and Advanced Simulation

This topical session highlights the ways in which chemical engineers are using proven augmented reality (AR) and digital twin technologies in enterprise industrial operations. A special focus is on value generation pathways and operational goals, such as decreasing costs and risks while increasing safety, improving the assets reliability, enhanced training/knowledge transfer, and converting insight to enable actions that drive operational excellence. The topics could potentially cover (but not are not limited to) remote assisted augmented reality, digital twin & spatial computing, connected & augmented workforce, and training & learning development as well as knowledge transfer.
