Session: Industry 4.0 in Ethylene Production

https://app.sli.do/event/8TpPRL13efWRoWuVrxSf4d/live/questions?clusterId=eu1 Industry 4.0 is advancing manufacturing on multiple levels through wireless connectivity and sensors, sophisticated digital threads and implementation of analytics. The prospective benefits are multiple and include safer production, maximized productivity, smarter and faster decisions, as well as supporting modern business practices for a more mobile workforce. With more than 145 million tons per year, ethylene and other olefins production is the largest volume segment in the chemicals sector, and thus of great interest for new technologies. This session highlights examples and successes of digitalization applicable to ethylene production.
