Session: Low Carbon Industrial Technologies
Climate change is by far the biggest global challenge of this century with far reaching consequences. Broad range of technology developments and deployments are needed in carbon reduction technologies to stay in line with 1.5 deg C target set out by the 2015 Paris Climate Accord. This session covers presentations from industry and academia on decarbonization technologies such as biofuels and biochemicals, carbon capture and storage, sustainable aviation fuel, hydrogen, battery, etc., with topics in research, development, scale-up and commercial deployments.
