Dow's Digital Transformation: Achievements, Challenges, and Future Prospects

This talk will provide an overview of Dow’s Digital Transformation Journey so far and will highlight a selection of success stories in materials design and production scenarios where data-driven and hybrid modeling were able to provide guiding insights and solutions. Along with these examples, the challenges and requirements for data infrastructure, data capture and generation, as well as cultural aspects are highlighted as we aim to modify the way we work in R&D and operations. The talk will conclude with an overview of the upskilling programs across organizations, and an outlook on our expectations for the impact of large language modeling and generative machine learning.
