Author
Griff Allen - Presenter, Lubrizol
Managing a company's global carbon footprint can be a challenge, particularly when focusing on Scope 1 and Scope 2 emissions within a diverse, global organization. This presentation will discuss how enhancing the scrutiny of collected data, coupled with building a robust network of internal stakeholders, can significantly improve efforts to analyze and target carbon reduction initiatives.
By leveraging detailed data insights, companies can strategically focus their resources on the most impactful areas, thereby optimizing their carbon management strategies. This is done first by thorough data analysis and prioritizing actions to ensure efficient execution of both capital and expense dollars. I will broadly talk about the types of projects that can emerge from a comprehensive site energy map, discussing the spectrum of costs and payback periods associated with these initiatives. Attendees will gain an understanding of how to effectively utilize energy mapping to identify and implement high-impact carbon reduction projects, ultimately driving sustainability and operational efficiency.
