Building a venture-funded climate tech company presents unique challenges and opportunities. Innovation, impact, and scalability are important parameters for consideration. This presentation explores the journey of creating and growing a climate-focused startup, sharing key lessons from securing venture funding to navigating the dynamic landscape of climate technology.

We begin by going through my experience starting as an engineer pursuing a PhD in Climate before it was known as Climate Tech to working for large corporates and then starting my own company. We will examine the critical role of purpose-driven innovation in addressing pressing environmental challenges while aligning with investor expectations for financial returns. The discussion highlights strategies for drafting compelling value proposition that resonates with both mission-driven stakeholders and commercial markets.

The presentation will go into the nuances of fundraising, including identifying the right investors, managing due diligence, and maintaining alignment on long-term goals.
