(55bi) PSM Elements Network

OSHA promulgated 29 C.F.R. § 1910.119 regulation in 1992 and the fourteen Process Safety Management (PSM) elements. The main objective of defining these elements is to prevent unwanted discharge of highly hazardous chemicals exposing personnel to serious hazards. The elements are linked to each other and have intricate interdependencies. Understanding these elements and their interdependence is key to implementation of effective of PSM system.
