(41u) Integrating Bowties, Risk Reduction Workshops, QRA and Cost Benefit to Demonstrate That High Consequence Tank Risks Are ALARP

This paper presents an integrated approach to addressing high consequence events, where interdisciplinary workshops and code compliance reviews are combined in Bowties to develop risk reduction measures for assessment. The risk reduction measures are then assessed, both qualitatively and quantitatively, to ultimately robustly demonstrate that the risks from tank fire events are As Low as Reasonably Practicable.
