Human Reliability Analysis (HRAs) involves the use of qualitative and quantitative methods to evaluate human contribution to risk. There are many and varied methods available that can be applied in the industry.
The British HSE considered 17 methodologies with potential for application in various industries, with public and proprietary techniques, pointing out resources, applicability, advantages and disadvantages.
It is considered important for PETROBRAS to be updated with the evolution of ACH methodologies and the potential knowledge added to risk analysis to strengthen operational safety.
The objective of this work was to evaluate human reliability analysis methodologies, identifying advantages and disadvantages, considering potential risks and/or impacts on certain sociotechnical systems present in E&P.
