Two things are driving the plant of the future and are indeed significant challenges we see in our future. The first is “The Age of Digitalization” and the second is the “Age of Sustainability.” A discussion of the transformation of our facilities and our industry beyond 2050 would be incomplete without a deeper look at what a digital, sustainable facility of the future will look like.
