(146b) Grams to Tons: Rapid Scale up of a First of Its Kind Chemienzymatic Process

In the Fall of 2021, Solugen started up the world's first carbon negative chemicals plant, using a novel chemienzymatic process. This talk will outline the journey Solugen took from benchtop to pilot to manufacturing scale, with emphasis on process scale up, as well as on the design, installation, and start up of a 10 kiloton per annum plant in a two-year timeline from start to finish.
