Session: Synergies between Refining and Petrochemical Processing I

With low oil prices continuing to put pressure on refining margins, the resulting relief for intermediate product prices represents an opportunity for the petrochemical and chemical industries. Smart concepts and flexible designs will allow the integration of refining and petrochemical processes to be beneficial for both sides, either within or across the facilities fence lines. This session offers a platform to present and discuss opportunities, new trends and ideas, case studies and challenges in the integration of refinery and petrochemical processes.
