Session: Operational Excellence in Refinery Distillation

Refining margins are always tight. Profits come from the last increment of capacity, quality, or reliability. Operation excellence is required to maintain profits and safety. Papers should include recent material on review, research, fundamentals, applications, and case study examples for maintaining excellence in refinery distillation operations. Contributions from academics, researchers, industry, vendor, government agencies and others are encouraged. Areas of interest would include mechanical reliability, control and optimization, troubleshooting, and advances in process design with possible practical application to solving industrial problems.
