Session: 2020 Bunker Fuel Specs, Lubes, and Waxes

Fuel desulfurization continues with changes in residual fuel requirements from updates to MARPOL Annex VI. Lube and wax specifications also continue to change from increased needs for fuel efficient vehicles. Papers should include recent material on review, research, fundamentals, applications, and case study examples for maintaining dealing with MARPOL induced changes in residual fuel markets and change in lube and wax processing requirements. Contributions from academics, researchers, industry, vendor, government agencies and others are encouraged. Areas of interest would include market changes, technical responses, alternate product dispositions, and interactions with other refinery drivers including petrochemical integration and bitumen upgrading.
