(167c) CCPS Vision 20/20: What and How Are WE Doing?

For the past couple of years the Center for Chemical Process Safety (CCPS) has been promoting Vision 20/20 in hopes that industry, regulators, academia, and the community worldwide will collectively and fervently drive great process safety performance through use of the five industry tenets and four global societal themes. CCPS has developed an assessment tool that is intended to help a company assess its current process safety implementation against Vision 20/20 tenets/themes. Although the tool is intended to be used internally, we continue to receive requests for benchmark data to allow companies to compare their results with their peers. This presentation will share examples of how CCPS Vision 20/20 tenets and themes appear in action in various companies as well as a new set of benchmark data generated from CCPS member companies this year.
