(188a) Operating Characteristics of Sulzer's High Performance Nexring Random Packing

Sulzer's NeXRing^TM random packing is a new random packing that is characterized by a highly open and uniform structure.  This low vapor side resistance of the packing structure significantly reduces the pressure drop of the packing, providing an ideal combination of very high capacity and efficiency.  The design of this packing will be discussed and comparative results will be presented from Sulzer in-house data as well as from independent research and industrial sources.
