(106c) Getting Your Automation Project Approved

Justifying automation projects is critical for approval.  Benefits need to be identified and financial gains determined. Obsolescence may be a reality, but just trying to replace the equipment will not guarantee a ‘green light’ to move the project forward. This workshop will focus on early justification/planning process, estimating the financial value (benefits/costs) and how to perform the return calculations.  Real world examples from several industries will be covered.
