(74n) Mitigating Downhole Flow Assurance Issues Using Specialist Modeling Software

We are currently exploiting a large oilfield in the Beibu Gulf, South China Sea, requiring the design of 12 wells.  We are using specialized well-modeling software using advanced flow assurance techniques incorporating accurate wax, asphaltene and hydrate prediction methods to revise our previous design to include additional solids deposition mitigation techniques, including thermal insulation in a number of wells where this was not originally thought to be a problem.
