(73a) Catalytic Glycerol Steam Reforming to Hydrogen on Metal-Ceramic Composites
Glycerol steam reforming on Ru and Rh catalysts supported on metal-ceramic composites is studied at high temperature and space velocity conditions for fuel cell applications. The catalysts exhibit substantially enhanced fuel conversion to hydrogen compared to the conventional catalyst, which indicates its superior properties for the reaction due to the fine active metal dispersion and facilitated heat and mass transport contributed from the unique catalyst microstructures.
