(82f) Batch Distillation Strategy for Higher Purity Products

Over several years a commercial product was purified to 95 mass % by batch distillation. Recently demand appeared for the same product, but at a higher purity (99% or more).
There are several alternatives to make it:
1. Use higher reflux ratio in the standard distillation procedure,
2. Collect front cuts and distill them separately,
3. Re-distill 95% product to higher purity.
All these alternatives are optimized (to maximize production rate) and compared.
