(47bo) Journey to World Class through Capability Development

DuPont has been on a 7 year journey towards world class operational excellence, resulting in significant earnings gains and cost-savings ($6B+) built off a foundation of capability development for individuals and teams.

This strategy has been proven across a wide variety of assets and businesses, both inside and outside of DuPont, deployed and sustained at over 200 DuPont locations.

 This framework will be shared/discussed and compared/contrasted with attendee’s experiences.  Several of the questions to be discussed are:

• How do you intentionally work to build a culture of continuous improvement throughout your organization?
• What specific areas of capability building have you found to be critical (For individuals? For teams? For key leaders?)?
• What cultural elements can be used to engage a multi-generational workforce?

DuPont will share key frameworks and elements of their journey that can be used as criteria for building capability and operational excellence in organizations.
